I'm Rob Hope, and I am a proven writing bar raiser.

I was instrumental in the construction and success of the Document Bar Raiser program at Amazon, and in doing so, discovered a passion for helping others reach their writing potential. As I continue on my journey, I would like to help you reach your potential as well.

My Approach
My childhood dream was to be a writer. I have the ability to put myself in the reader's chair and find the questions that will likely be asked, the gaps that will be exposed, or the mechanical challenges that will undermine writing effectiveness. Raising the bar on writing is a critical reading skill, and that is something I've always excelled at.

I focus on many facets of writing during my reviews, including strong, concise, specific narratives, ensuring clarity of data and a lack of ambiguity in the documents I examine. My feedback is constructive and instructive, focusing as much on the "why" as the "how" or "what". The authors I mentor learn and become better authors over time; I strive to make sure my mentees eventually no longer need assistance when they write.
